NotesNOTES : Joseph's parents, John and Bertha Le Jeune (nee Van Staeyen) signed the Commemorative Album presented to the Misses Scott in Tunbridge Wells in July 1916. They were from Antwerp - avenue du Sud 153 (I have left it in French as haven't managed to identify the Flemish name). By July 1917, according to their Kew History Card, they only had 2 children: Henriette, 4, and Marie, 2, - Joseph isn't mentioned, and the name of another, Alice, was added in pencil, presumably at a later date. They were living at 38 Calverley Street in Tunbridge Wells. John was employed and earning 20/- a week, but no information re where. I have also found birth records for 3 Le Jeune children (mother Van Staeyen) in Bromley in December Quarter 1915 - Marie B, Joseph A and Marcel G - triplets? And sadly a Death record for baby Joseph Le Jeune in the same quarter, but in Kensington. The family left the UK on the SS Quilpué on 29 April 1919.
