NotesNovember 1914: moved with 18 family members and dependants into "Mountfield", a large country house in Hernhill, Faversham, freely put at his diposal by the Dawes faily, still living in Mount Ephraim in the neighbourhood. Baron Forgeur was an engineer and general secretary of the Liege Association of Engineers (200 members approx.). During the siege of Liege in August 1914, he had commanded an important engineering section of the Belgian army (local newspaper "Faversham News", November 7th, 1914).
