NotesNOTES : Alice's parents, John and Bertha Le Jeune (nee Van Staeyen) signed the Commemorative Album presented to the Misses Scott in Tunbridge Wells in July 1916. They were from Antwerp - avenue du Sud 153 (I have left it in French as haven't managed to identify the Flemish name). By July 1917, according to their Kew History Card, they had 2 children: Henriette, 4, and Marie, 2, - Alice's name was added in pencil, presumably at a later date - I have therefore estimated her birth year as 1918 - I haven't found a birth record for her. The family left the UK on the SS Quilpué on 29 April 1919. SOURCES : Commemorative Album given to the Misses Scott, Women's Library @ LSE; History Cards.
